10 BASIC STEPS TO A SAFERhome CERTIFIED PROJECT
Step 1
Congratulations on completing the first step! You have made the wise decision to build a SAFERhome certified home or project.
Step 2
Fill out the pre-registration form.
Step 3
Mail payment and pre-registration form to SAFERhome Standards Society. Or pay online through our website (coming soon).
Step 4
Upon receipt of your registration and payment, SAFERhome Standards Society will mail you your complete construction information package, along with contact information for our knowledgeable staff should you need any help or have any questions.
Step 5
Complete construction as per your simple common sense program instructions.
Step 6
Contact one of our 85 SAFERhome certified building inspectors to set up a time for your inspection.
Step 7
Once you have passed your inspection and paid your $149 dollar per unit registration fee, your inspector will register your units with the SAFERhome Standards central registry office.
Step 8
You will receive your SAFERhome seals and registration numbers to place on each unit.
Step 9
Your units are now listed in our registry and on our searchable database, available to purchasers and Real Estate agents searching for SAFERhome Certified properties.
Step 10
