Builder Benefits
A small investment, A larger profitThe SAFERhome Certification Program has proven in the past to have a on-site construction cost of less than $900 per housing unit, for single family and less than $500 for multi-family. The SAFERhome “tool kit” is a cost-effective and efficient means for consumers and developers to ensure housing meets the rapidly changing needs of our population. read more...
Certification
SAFERhome ensures our standards can easily be understood and employed by you, the homeowner. We assist you in the approval process by communicating with City Hall or the municipality. Our representatives act as a translator between the architect on your home design and you. SAFERhome certification inspections are done in the framing stage of construction, after wiring and plumbing are complete, but before dry walling or finishing begin. Once certified, your house will be included in the SAFERhome central registry.
